Meet DJ Blacktiger.

Music has always been a part of my life. From gospel roots in Alabama to the rich musical culture of Detroit, and now entertaining audiences throughout Germany, every chapter of my journey has helped shape the DJ I am today.

Early Years

My name is Dennis Wilson and I was born in the great state of Alabama. At the age of 13 my family relocated to Detroit, Michigan. Culture shock… you bet, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Musical Influences

My family has always been involved in music. Starting from gospel as our basis, we were very involved with the church.

The Beginning of DJ Blacktiger

In the mid 80’s I bought a rack stereo system with a Numark mixer and dabbled in music but nothing serious. It would be many years before being approached by Mr. Harris, a coworker who heard me play at a company function and convinced me that I should take dj’ing seriously. That encouragement marked the beginning of my journey as Dj Blacktiger. R&B, Soul, Funk, Soulful House and House are my primary focus. My long-term goal is to expand into radio and online broadcasting while continuing to entertain audiences through live events.
