Who Am I?

Early Years

My name is Dennis Wilson and I was born in the great state of Alabama. At the age of 13 my family relocated to Detroit, Michigan. Culture shock… you bet, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

My family has always been involved in music. Starting from gospel as our basis, we were very involved with the church.

In the mid 80’s I bought a rack stereo system with a Numark mixer and dabbled in music but nothing serious. It would be many years before being approached by Mr. Harris, a coworker who heard me play at a company function and convinced me that I should take dj’ing seriously. Thus begun my journey to becoming a dj. R&B, Soul, Funk, Soulful House and House are my primary focus. My goal is to become a radio DJ.
